2004 Tennis Team

Our Tennis Team came in second place in the Zone 4 tennis tournament held at FIU on Wednesday, March 17th beating Paul Bell, Madison, and Miami Springs Middle Schools. Rockway had 5 players advancing to the County Finals on Tuesday, March 23rd at Tropical Park.

Congratulations to Coach Cherry and all of her players. Special Congratulations to our County Finalists:

  • Henry Medina placed 2nd in Boys Singles Singles
  • Aylin Chang & Alejandro Chang placed 2nd in Mixed Doubles
  • Eliza Pallet & Brieanna Pena placed 2nd in Girls Doubles
  • Hector Cancianco & Daniel De la Rosa Place 3rd in Boys Doubles
  • Nathalie Izquierdo place 4th in Girls Singles
  • Eliana Almario for winning her first match
